Planned Purpose

As human beings, we all desire to have a sense of purpose in our lives. We want to know that our lives have meaning and that we are making a difference in the world. The good news is that God has a specific plan and purpose for each one of us. The scripture Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

But how do we discover our God-given destiny? It starts with seeking God's will and direction for our lives. We must first surrender our plans and desires to Him and allow Him to guide us. As we seek God's will, He will reveal His plan and purpose for our lives.

Here are some practical steps you can take to discover your God-given destiny:

1. Seek God in Prayer

Prayer is a powerful tool that allows us to communicate with God. Take time to pray and ask God to reveal His plan for your life. Ask Him to guide you and give you the wisdom and discernment you need to make the right decisions.

2. Study God's Word

The Bible is God's Word, and it provides us with guidance and direction for our lives. Spend time studying the Bible and meditating on its truths. Look for scriptures that speak to your heart and provide guidance for your life.

3. Listen to God's Voice

God speaks to us in many ways, but we must be willing to listen. Be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit and pay attention to the small nudges and promptings that God places in your heart.

4. Pursue Your Passions

God has given each one of us unique talents and abilities. Pursue your passions and use your talents to glorify God. He has given you these gifts for a reason, and they can be used to fulfill His purpose for your life.

5. Take Action

Once you have a sense of what God is calling you to do, take action. Don't wait for everything to be perfect before you start. Trust that God will guide you and provide for you as you step out in faith.

Remember, discovering your God-given destiny is a journey, not a destination. It may take time to fully understand God's plan for your life but trust that He has a purpose and a plan for you. As you seek Him and follow His leading, He will guide you to the destiny He has planned for you.

Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God has a plan for our lives, and it is a plan to prosper us and give us hope and a future. By seeking God's will, studying His Word, listening to His voice, pursuing our passions, and taking action, we can discover the destiny He has planned for us. Trust in God's plan for your life, and watch as He leads you on an incredible journey of purpose and fulfillment.

Will Over Talent

We often hear about the importance of talent in achieving success. We are told that in order to make it big in life, we must possess some extraordinary talents that set us apart from others. But what about those of us who don't have that innate talent? Can we still achieve greatness? The answer is a resounding YES! Because it's not talent that defines us, but our willpower, determination, and perseverance. Let me tell you a story about a man named Thomas Edison. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest inventors in history, but did you know that he was once expelled from school for being "too slow to learn"? Despite this setback, Edison never lost his thirst for knowledge and kept experimenting with various inventions until he finally invented the light bulb. He famously said, "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." This is a prime example of how willpower and determination can lead to success, regardless of one's ta...
